This item was very difficult to make. I was still using the old ironing board, so the surface was wobbly and ominious. I attempted to stick the smaller pieces of plastic to the based gray plastic with scotch tape, modge podge, and shiny acrylic glaze. When heated, each of these mediums melted into a sticky mess. Before I knew what was happening, I was too locked in to change course. Once I reached a stopping point, I pushed through the ugly phase by sewing on it, and then cutting it down into new compositions.
