I create this piece to celebrate a time when I didn't have to work on Shabbat. This piece starts with an image of a cafe chalk board that a lot of people had drawn and written on. The combination of religio-political messages on the chalkboard was unhinged gibberish. I covered that over with a green Coach bag zipper, an overflowing bowl of Cuties brand tangerines, and a decadent metal bowl of broken eggshells.
The final layer is a cover from a siddur called "Prayers for Jewish Working Girls."
Unique 8.5 x 11 print (only one will be printed) on cold press cotton paper, in thrift store frame. This printing technique reveals the richness and depth in this multi-layered digital work. Signed. Ships with certificate of authenticity.
