2022. This piece captures the hope I felt when I saw pictures of a protestor in an Elmo mask and acrylic nails standing before a burning dumpster, fist raised in solidarity.
I felt it was important to mark the moment.
I created the block for this piece by pulling the veneer off of a piece of plywood and printing on cotton paper with oil based ink, creating a run of 7. Each print is signed and numbered, and includes a certificate of authenticity. 11"h x 7"w.
