2021. I threw this coffee mug with dark, mineral rich clay on a wheel and then attached an angular handle, fired it, and glazed it in drippy yellow and orange. Then I drank coffee from it and drew it again and again in my gray and dim cubicle.
Finally, I carved the shapes of the colors three times in wood blocks and printed all three colors on 100% cotton paper. This piece is 6”x6” with a thick border (total dimensions 9”x8”).
